Everyone meet our next poundie…..Zac!❤️‍🩹💔 Zac came from the pound and again no one came forward to claim him. However he was microchipped and therefore we know his age. He is going to be 13 years old in a few months.😞😇 This lad has clearly been suffering for a long time and then with his age mixed in, he’s really not had a good time. However thankfully, it seems with a bit of tlc and building him up slowly, he will be ok. 🤞🏽🫶🏼 Obviously, he is 13 years old and is a little wobbly and stiff. However with his new diet and supplements and little daily walks, we are already seeing improvements. He’s so much happier in himself as well.😇💙 In foster he is with another dog and doing great. He has even done a few play bows. He really enjoys a comfy bed after a nice meal. He loves his food and is currently on a few small meals a day, so he can gain weight and condition slowly and steadily.💪🏼 At the vets, he was a superstar. He was more than happy to be handled and checked over. He’s currently weighing in at 7.4kg so does need to gain a few kgs. However the vet feels his skin is due to a bad flea allergy that went untreated. It is likely he will need eye drops on and off throughout the rest of his life but apart from that he is ok. He his brilliant at having his eyes drops in ❤️‍🩹 Zac has been to the groomers to make him feel and smell a lot better. We decided it would be best to cut him right down and allow his skin to breathe and his fur to regrow. He really was a superstar at the groomers too. 💛 This little man walks well on lead and travels well too. He really doesn’t ask for much at all. Just company and love. Everyone who has met him, has adores him and commented on his sweet nature!🥰 We know this lad needs more time to recover and strengthen however we are opening the adoption applications for him. We won’t be going through them just yet but please apply. We know he needs a calm home with someone who can spoil him. Carrying on with his plan of little and often meals and walks. Letting him do everything at his pace. We will continue to monitor him over the time he is in foster and he will go back to the vets for a review next week!😇 Please share this little gentleman far and wide so he can find his retirement home.🏡🫶🏼 Remember to compete the form below if you’re interested in adoption;
