Everyone meet our next resident ……Stan!😍 Stan sadly found himself in our care due through no fault of his own. More details will be given at the interview stage of the adoption process. 👍🏽 This lad is a Springer spaniel who’s 8 years old. He’s a happy lad who’s been a working dog for some of his life, then been kept outside. It’s now time to find him a comfy, warm retirement home!🐶 Stan is a typical spaniel, he loves to be off lead and have his head down taking in all the smells and sniffs. He can walk well on lead too. He knows some commands!🥰 We were told this lad had an accident in his younger days where a thorn pricked his left eye, he didn’t lose the eye but he did the lose the sight. However our vet feels that he has lost his eye due to an entropion…. where the eyelash grow the wrong way and the bottom eye lid rolls in which causes discomfort and eventually sight loss when not treated. He has lost his sight but the vets feels there’s still a level of pain. So we will be removing his eye at a later date.❤️‍🩹 However nothing stops this lad, he can still play fetch all day long 👏 Stan is good with other dogs, been fine around old dog savvy children and he is crate trained too. He adores going out in the van and happily jumps in and out. .🫶🏼 He has passed a full check. Stan is booked in for neutering and a dental - he has some sore teeth and gums. We have now restarted his vaccinations, flea and worm treatment. All that’s left is to find him a cracking home. 🙏🏼 Please share far and wide!🤞🏽 Remember to complete the form below if as much information as possible; Everyone meet our next resident ……Stan!😍 Stan sadly found himself in our care due through no fault of his own.
