ALSO PLEASE DONT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO ADOPT STRAIGHTAWAY. DOGS ARE DYING AND WE NEED TO FIND THE RIGHT HOMES QUICKLY. Rexi and Slim are the perfect pair. They adore sleeping next to each other, they eat together and play together. They walk well together and adore being in the garden! We are going to try our very best not to split them. So we need everyone to share these far and wide. Let’s get them their forever home together!🙌🏽🤞🏽 Rexi is a 10 year old lab x cocker and slim is 9 year old cocker. They have been worked all their life in the shooting industry. Their owner signed them into our care as he was going to move to a warmer climate due to his health. However theses guys needed urgent TLC!🤬😞 Both dogs have been superstars and are no bother. All the volunteers adore them. They are good with dogs, people and dog savvy children. They love to play fetch and they adore going in the car. They both have brilliant personalities!🥰👏🏽 Now that they understand what love and attention is, they are besotted with having cuddles and fusses. They would take it all day if they could! 😍🥰 Both dogs are now medically sound. Rexi has been spayed, had a lump removal and 15 teeth out. Slim has had most of his teeth and lump removal. Their previous owner wasn’t aware they needed this work, as he didn’t notice!! 🤬They have both had a bath, been flead, wormed and re started their vaccinations! Again, they were fabulous at the vets.❤️‍🩹 Literally everyone who meets them adores them!!😇😍So we know it’s a big ask but we are going to try to rehome this stunning pair together. Slim is a 10 year old male cocker spaniel and Rexi is a lab x cocker who’s 10 years old 💔❤️‍🩹 Both dogs have been used for shooting and been kept outside. Their owner asked us to rehome them due to moving abroad as he has bad health. On assessment it was clear these guys needed some TLC. 💔 The owner agreed to help with some of the cost. Rexi is going in for a lump removal and spay. We are restarting vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and Slims dental needs. They will feel a lot better in no time!💙 Since arriving in our care these guys have won everyone over. They are grateful for their walks, their food and a fuss. They have both fallen in love with having cuddles from our volunteer walkers 😘 Slim is a typical cocker - on the go and sniffing everything. Once he’s finished his food he brings you the bowl. ❤️‍🩹🥹Rexi loves to carry something around …. normally a ball! She loves to play fetch. They are both utterly adorable characters 🥰🐾 Both dogs are really enjoying their walks. They are ok off lead and don’t seem bothered by traffic. They are happy to share toys and a bed too.💛 This week they are both going to have a lovely bath! They both smell pretty bad at the moment. 😵‍💫 😂 We are currently assessing how bonded these 2 are. We know they haven’t always lived together and we are assessing them apart over the coming days. For now we will be accepting applications for them together and separately whilst we continue their assessment. 🐾 Please share far and wide.
