Everyone meet our next poundie …… Percy!🖤 Percy is a 4 year old lurcher who’s covered in scars. This lad’s clearly had an eventful life before ending up in the pound, where sadly no one came forward to claim him. He is now very happily in our care!🫶🏼 Since arriving Percy has been a star, he adores everyone and greets them like a long lost friend. After a few moments of excitable zoomies and kisses, he’s ready for belly and ear rubs!😘 Percy adores his cuddles and fusses. However he also adores his food and his walks. He’s a cracking lad who really is enjoying his new life. One full of fun, love and food! 🧡 After his a few excitable moments, he settles down on his walks and he’s a star. He’s just excited to start, once settled he isn’t bothered by passing dogs or traffic. Loud noises don’t bother him and he simply loves exploring!🐾 Percy travels well and is more than happy to be handled too. He has been good with other dogs so far and is happy to walk straight passed. His coat is the most dry and flakey coat we have experienced however it’s come right with a decent diet and grooming. 🐶 Percy was adopted but sadly returned this was not Percy’s fault! Even the family who brought him back (and we’re devastated) stated it was not his fault. More details of this will be given a later stage in the adoption process. ❤️‍🩹 When he was adopted, he got used to being left alone for short periods of time, he was house trained and a good all rounder. He loves his food but got a lot calmer around it and can live with dog savvy older children. He’s a cracking lad who just needs a loving home. He adores his walks and is a gentle soul….
