Everyone meet our next resident ….. Nellie!💔❤️‍🩹 Nellie was surrendered by her owner into our care due to no fault of her own. Sadly her owners mental health problems meant she wasn’t getting the care she deserves or needs. 💔 Sadly Nellie has lived outside with no shelter, in rubbish and not been walked or well cared for. People within the neighbourhood had reported her to the RSPCA but nothing came of it (we will be following up with them, as yet again we are stepping in where they do not 😖) This girl has been fab since coming in to our care, she’s a sweetie. It’s clear she’s been breed from a few times. She needs some TLC and vet treatment, however all this fixable. Emotionally she will take longer to heal however we know with enough love she will.🫶🏼❤️‍🩹 Nellie is a good walker, who is ok on lead. She’s good in the car and happy to be handled. This girl loves to be with humans, now she knows they give her food and cuddles. Typically she’s not cat friendly but she could possibly live with dog savvy children. 😘 At the vets, she’s been great. Nellie was tad shy but happy to handled and given a treat. She’s passed a health check. She’s going in to be spayed when she’s gained a little more condition. For now, she’s had her nails clipped, started her vaccination and been flead and wormed.💪🏼 So far, she’s been good around other dogs but we will assess her further. Currently this girl has had a lot of change in her life and she’s doing very well and accepting it. We know she’s going to blossom in a home.🏡⭐️ We feel she needs a home which is calm and able to give her time to decompress and be empathic towards her and the situation she’s been in. Sadly, she is scared of people shouting and carrying objects etc. 💔 Please share so this girl finally knows what love is and have a family of her own!❣️ Remember to compete the form below if you’re interested in adoption:
