Everyone meet our next resident ….. Lottie!💜 This dinky dog is a staffie mix pup who’s around 5-6 weeks old. Sadly she founds herself in our care due to someone selling her cheap and the people realising she needed help. Thankfully they got her and made sure she was safe! 💔❤️‍🩹 Lottie came us weighing 1.2kg, covered in fleas, awful worms, open wounds where she has scratched her self raw. She should have still been with her mother and the litter. We are trying to locate her mother and litter but are having no luck.😞😞 This girl went straight in to foster and hasn’t looked back. At the vets, apart from the obvious she was ok. So she had a few days with an experienced foster and to ensure she was eating and drinking well and gaining strength and confidence. 🧡 Now she’s in a foster home who are more than likely going to adopt her when she’s old enough. She’s doing fab, gaining weight and confidence. Lottie adores the other dogs and animals she lives with. She’s a strong minded girl 😍 Once old enough she’ll be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She’ll be on a behavioural plan and dietary plan for a while to make sure all her needs are met. With her being so young and away from the litter, she needs to have a good amount of structured socialisation and routine etc. 🥰 If this foster with a view to adoption doesn’t work out then we will place her up for adoption. However we are pretty sure she’ll be staying for the rest of her life. 🏡❤️ Please do share this girls story - she’s a true example of the reasons why there is a crisis in rescues centres currently up and down the whole of the UK!💔🤬
