‼️Special appeal for Lenny!‼️ Please share this lad far and wide so we can find him, the perfect forever home!🙏🏼 Lenny is a GSD cross who originally came in to us from The Haven in Southern Ireland over a year ago. Lenny had an awful past.😢 Fast forward to now and sadly Lenny is coming back in to our care. Lenny has made some progress with his behaviours but sadly not enough for the adopter to feel he wants to keep him 💔 Please read Lenny's full write and if you feel you are the person to give Lenny his forever home please get in touch 🙏 Lenny has some huge positives and a few points which need work. This lad turns 7 years old next month, we have to get it right this time! Lenny is a fit boy who loves ball and empty field!🐾 The positives are....… Lenny is brilliant with people and children. This lad will let anyone in the house without an issue, he doesn’t guard his toys or food. Lenny is more than happy to be left for a few hours, he is spotless in the house and sleeps downstairs. This lad loves to play ball and will do this for hours. And at the end of a busy day, he loves a fuss.😘 Sadly due to his past, the points any adopter would need to keep working on are is reactivity.  He is car reactive and dog reactive on lead. However when introduced to dogs properly he is fine and will be off lead with them without an issue. 😇 When reacting to a car he will bark and sometimes lunge forward depending how close the car is.  This has all improved in the time he has been in his adoptive home. He only now reacts mostly to close moving cars. Lenny is walked in a head collar when on roads and this helps control and correct his behaviour. 🐶 Travelling is a odd thing for Lenny, because he actually isn’t stressed by travelling if he can’t see the cars going passed the windows. For example; a crate covered up or in a van. He is more than happy to jump in and out of the car without an issue. 🐾 We now need a home for Lenny with someone who can keep up his training and work with us as a rescue to get him less reactive when walking. We will consider different types of homes for this lad. Please place a form if you would like to be considered however understand; it’s about Lenny and his needs. They are our priority as always! Please contact us for more info if you think you are that speacial person Lenny needs  Please share!🙏🏼❤️‍🩹
