Everyone say Hi to our next resident....Chase!💙 Sadly chase has found himself in our care due to his both of his owners health changing dramatically. This resulted in Chase being on his own for a few days with someone popping in. So when Chase arrived in he was confused and heartbroken!💔 However, after a few days Chase is doing well. He is starting to trust his fosterers and showing his personality. 🙏🏼🐶 Chase is around 11 years old and is a Border Collie. He weighs in at 29 kg but he is a real gentlemen. He has passed a full check and been neutered. Sadly due to his owners health declining, his needs were not being met. Therefore we was very matted around his backend and this had to be shaved right down to the skin. The rest of the matts have been brushed out or cut. 💙 Chase is a perfect houseguest. He is spotless in the house and greets everyone well. He walks well on lead and has a few 30 mins walks a day, we are building these up slowly. He loves to plod. So far, he has been fine with other dogs he has met too!🐾 This lad is still settling in to his foster home and we are still assessing him. He has been good once in the car however, he can nervous about jumping in. Chase does get in with some treats and soft voice. 💛 We are looking for retirement home with someone who understands what Chase is going through and has rescue experience. We are saying no young children, due to him being an older lad who’s confused and needs a little space.
